Vineyard stroll May 18!
As we take a moment during the #dominoday pig roast we can’t help but walk a few steps from the crush pad where the Lechón is roasting, and stroll in the beautiful estate vineyard.
Now that flowering is fully behind us you can see cluster formation taking place. There is a lot of healthy growth to take in! And this year the potential for more fruit is evident. We won’t recount the weather patterns or the work, toil, effort and preparation by the team, but to be at this stage in this condition leaves us very pleased with anticipation of what’s to come.

I’m no JeriLynne Clifford (there is only One) but flexing on a trio of international and domestic butter boards for Easter was within scope. Two pounds, four countries and many hand cut easter egg radishes carrots and cucumber Happily this will be a once-only project.
So happy this guy walked into Siboney Cellars. I met dear friend Pete Valenzuela in 1982/83 at the Interurban Restaurant in College Station. He was a bartender and I was waiting tables during college having just transferred to Texas A&M as a junior. We had several excellent bartenders (hello John Marinos!), managers and wait staff led by Paul Klement (husband of Margaret Brooks Klement) Lisa Klement Frizzell I can hear you crying right now shouting his name! He’s a CPA now and married to Marina but to me he will always be a glass-tossing bottle-twirling Herradura margarita boss.
