Founded by Miguel and Barbara Lecuona, Siboney adds a beautiful new chapter to the story of Texas Wine.

Siboney is a beautiful old Cuban love song written by Ernesto Lecuona, Miguel’s great uncle and internationally acclaimed composer. With this playlist, the Hill Country AVA now dances to a vibrant new beat.

Estate Vineyard

a hidden gem nestled in the rolling hills of the Texas Hill Country

Planted in 2021, the Estate Vineyard is the primary design focal point for the entire site. Every table and terrace seat has an exceptional view over the Merlot vines situated on the sloped, limestone terrace.

Featuring excellent drainage and diverse soil composition, a modest irrigation well, rainwater catchment tanks, and carefully preserved oak trees that provide shade in the middle of the vineyard, Siboney embraces the value of sustainability and harmony with the natural Hill Country micro-climate.

Meet our Partners

Bill and Mary Anne Waldrip

The Lecuonas met Bill and Mary Anne in 2015 at a wine tasting conference in Fredericksburg.

The couples forged a strong partnership in 2019, then designed, built and opened Siboney on the beautiful 52 acre site, 4 miles west of Johnson City.

Mary Anne actively manages the vineyard & site facilities, and is a welcome presence in the tasting room and at club events.

Bill is managing partner at an oil and gas investment company, and philanthropist in STEM education and ministry charities in Louisiana and Texas.

Not just Tasting Room Staff, these are hospitality experts steeped in the culture of the “incredible guest experience.” They are wine-and-culinary geniuses, storytelling orators, culturally engaged students of learning, and tireless practitioners of joyful service… Siboney Service.

They’re from here - local hill country volunteers, neighbors. Fierce advocates for Texas Wine, and building on the positive reputation of the Texas Hill Country Wine Region. And they are your friends, anytime you need one.

A little inside baseball: this group of wonderful people routinely choose to share tips across the team rather than play it solo, especially on event days. Their choice.

Over the past four years, when one of the team is sidelined, the others always step up, fulfilling our service duties and responsibilities without complaint. This is because they understand the value of being there for each other.
