Nearly 150 members and guests of Siboney Cellars put roots down in our vineyard with us over the weekend of April 10 and 11. That just stuns us. We are every bit as excited as you to commit new vines for estate wines.
We now have yet another reason to cherish this opportunity to plant our vineyard in April. And start another chapter in the forever tale of this beautiful region of the world. Having found this perfect specimen of a fossil that will be on display in our wine cellar, it somehow becomes clear that everything we do is interconnected. Not just winter into spring, but awakening to the connection of past, present and future.
Before we even named Siboney Cellars, we knew the first two wines would be named Travis and Hot Shot.

Last night, we set up a dozen glasses to taste through red wine barrel samples from the 2017 Harvest. Barbara and I have tasted wines through a number of professional programs over the years.Last nights’s tasting – assessing our own wines – well, this was something entirely different, for both of us. …
One thing I enjoy is being the Keeper and Bestower of Traditional Anniversary Gifts… but when I told Barbara that #17 was Furniture, she said “ok I got this one. Hold my Cab”. Boom.

Opening a bottle of our Siboney Cellars Cab and Bills Blackmon Ranch Vineyard Merlot is the perfect way to finish a wonderful day. My mom visited us during the Christmas break and gave me this adorable photo from I think 1942, Christmas in Lawton Oklahoma and a new bike under the tree!
Mom has had a pretty good 2024 from the Eclipse to seeing her granddaughter Wren enlist in the Air Force. Perhaps nothing beats her victory with partner Lorie at the Domino Day tournament in October!
Looking forward to what 2025 will bring.
We love this so much. @olivacigar has been featured in the #CigarClub at @siboneycellars many times. Their Advent calendar came to our attention from one of our founding members, Bo and Judy King. We just had to get one of our own and share it… and since we were already halfway through the month we had some fun playing catch-up.
